Igniter won't light
Clicking with no flame, or no click at all. Often it's a dead battery, a greasy or cracked electrode, a loose wire, or burner ports too clogged for gas to reach the spark.
Grill won't light, won't get hot, or cooks unevenly? Book an on-site diagnostic visit online for $99.99. We find the cause, make minor adjustments on the spot, and quote any parts before doing anything more.
Sound familiar?
Most grill problems come down to buildup, rust or a worn-out part. Here's what we see most often.
Clicking with no flame, or no click at all. Often it's a dead battery, a greasy or cracked electrode, a loose wire, or burner ports too clogged for gas to reach the spark.
Healthy flames are mostly blue. Lazy yellow flames and dead zones usually mean clogged ports, insects in the burner tubes, or a misadjusted air shutter.
A propane regulator stuck in low-flow safety mode, blocked burners or a failing valve can keep a grill from reaching searing temperature.
Grease-coated heat shields and flavorizer bars cause flare-ups and uneven cooking. Usually a deep clean solves it.
Burners, heat shields and grates don't last forever. We'll tell you what's worth replacing and what isn't.
Turn off the gas at the tank or supply valve and don't light the grill. If the smell doesn't go away, call your gas utility. Once it's safe, we can help find the leak.
$99.99 online booking rate
A $20 deposit when you book is applied to the visit total. This isn't a full cleaning. Replacement parts and extra labor are quoted separately and only done with your approval. Some parts have to be ordered, so not every repair can be finished on the first visit.
To help us prepare: send your grill's make, model, approximate size and a short description of the problem. You can also text photos to (760) 671-1227.

Often the simplest fix
A surprising number of "broken" grills just need a proper cleaning. Burners clogged with debris, igniters that won't spark, grease-coated heat shields, low flames and excess smoke all tend to go away once the buildup is gone.
That's why every cleaning we do includes a full inspection inside and out. If a good cleaning can fix it, we've got you. If it's something more, we'll tell you straight and point you in the right direction.

FAQ
$99.99 is our online booking rate. It covers up to one hour on-site: diagnosis, ignition and heat checks, airflow inspection, and minor adjustments that don't need new parts. A $20 deposit when you book is applied to the visit total. It isn't a full cleaning. Parts and extra labor are quoted separately and only done with your approval.
The usual causes are a dead igniter battery, grease or carbon on the electrode tip, a cracked electrode, a loose wire, or burner ports too clogged for gas to reach the spark. A lot of these are fixed with a proper cleaning and adjustment.
Healthy gas flames are mostly blue. Lazy yellow flames or dead zones usually mean clogged burner ports, insects or spider webs in the burner tubes, a misadjusted air shutter, or a propane regulator that has gone into low-flow safety mode. We check all of these on a diagnostic visit.
We quote any parts and extra labor before doing the work, and nothing happens without your OK. Some parts have to be ordered, so not every repair can be finished on the first visit. For major repairs we can connect you with trusted local specialists.
If the firebox and body are solid, replacing burners, igniters or heat shields is usually much cheaper than a new grill, especially a built-in one. If the firebox is rusted through or parts are no longer made, it's time to look at replacing it. We'll give you an honest answer.
